The light, the glimmering sparkle of these Manolos and that perfect rust background have me thinking about slipping on these beauties and taking a stroll through a pile of crisp, colorful leaves; it's my favorite part of autumn weather, and I was lucky enough to hear a bit of crunch beneath my shoes this weekend!
Tell me, what's your favorite thing about fall? The pumpkin flavors, the smell of fires in a hearth or the approach of the holiday season?
Those Monolos are looking festive! When we lived in Switzerland and Boston I loved fall, the leaves, the crisp air...in Texas it can be disappointing with up and down temperatures and swarms of mosquitoes...Ugh, don't I sound excited. xo
ReplyDeleteI agree that crunch sounds is THE BEST! I also really like the warm colors! Oh, and the comfort food :) like pies for example!
ReplyDeleteAutumn has always been my favorite season hands down! I would be hard pressed to pick just one thing I love about the fall. The beautiful hues embracing the landscape, the crisp clean air, the chance to really get 'dressed' and did I mention the pumpkins??!! Oh how I love the pumpkin!!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the approach of the holiday season!! Wearing these and eating turkey....fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteSo Carrie! I forgot how pretty your posts are. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am in love with the smell of pumpkin pie, the color of the leaves as they begin to change, and of course being able to wear boots in SoCal!!

ReplyDeleteThe smell of pumpkin. Bread, candles, whatever...it's just so cozy and homey. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the warm, cozy feeling of Autumn- it makes me want to grab a soft blanket & snuggle by a fire. It's my favorite season!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part is snuggling in bed with the window cracked open, listening to the crisp fresh air blow the beautiful golden leaves to the ground, all while I'm warm and cozy.

ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin has to be my favorite part... or maybe the apple cider... and just how gorgeous everything is around here in the fall. I find myself constantly in awe.
I love all the pumpkin recipes that pop up in the fall!
ReplyDeleteIf you add a glass of that Pimms cocktail you described earlier to this fantasy, I'm right there with you!
