Sparkling

What would a wedding be without something sweet to savor? While yesterday's wedding had it all, I couldn't help but think that this divine confection with its golden bursts would have been the perfect compliment to the bride's sparkling peep toes!

    Love that cake! We had fresh flowers on our cake. But I think if I were to do it again, I'd have something made by the Sweet & Saucy Shop in SoCal... hello sugar flowers!

    This cake is gorgeous!! I love that we had lavender all over the cake which matched the bridesmaids flowers and many other things throughout the reception.

    I alway loved that scene in Pollyanna where they serve those huge slices of cake at the fair and everyone just eats them with their hands. There is nothing better than a big slice of cake. Cupcakes just aren't big enough ;)
