I know, this chocolate birthday cake probably isn't what you were expecting-you were looking forward to a killer margarita recipe (just wait until tomorrow!) and maybe a piñata or a burro. But Cinco de Mayo is not only a major Mexican holiday and excuse to drink too much tequila-it just so happens to be my sweetheart's birthday! His favorite cake is yellow with just a bit of chocolate icing, and you can be sure that's just what he'll get today!

ReplyDeletedo most bars keep agave syrup?? before bethenny's skinny girl margs, i used to ask for just a bunch of fresh limes and triple sec and tequila in a glass. definitely use agave at home though!
