Lindsey wore a gorgeous tiered Vera Wang gown, and dressed her maids in the designer as well, while the groom and his buddies wore khakis and blue blazers with whale ties by Vineyard Vines. The blushing bride carried a full bouquet of orchids, peonies and lily of the valley, while hydrangeas and queen Anne's lace filled the Nantucket lightship basket centerpieces on each table. Flowers were beautiful arranged by the Flower Shop at Marine Home. Invitations, place cards, programs and table signs by Papeterie were embossed with a navy scallop shell, and illustrated the wedding's beach-inspired theme.
This Manhattan couple wed in Nantucket, at the Galley, a favorite restaurant of Lindsey and Brian, but brought a taste of home with them by way of the classic 1931 NYC taxi cab, provided by Island Buggies. Guests enjoyed a raw bar and two gorgeous cakes created by Jodi's Cakes-a lemon curd with fresh blueberries in the form of two Nantucket lightship baskets, and a friendly whale filled with red velvet cake. Lovely photographs by Zofia Photography, and the perfect way to celebrate this summer weekend!
