Orso's dear friend and bridesmaid, Reka Vago, designed her "superhero" wedding shoes; available for purchase only in Budapest, don't go getting your heart set on a pair! Hungarian traditions were beautifully highlighted during this romantic affair: homemade bread rolls called pogácsa made by Orso herself were enjoyed before dinner, and the Palinka shots made by her father were personally served by the bride to her guests. Leigh Miller's photographs are beautiful, but I think the single most stunning element of this wedding is the bride's devastating smile. No wonder Javier fell in love!
holy goodness, how creepy is that giant crucifix behind the ceremony!! but beautiful otherwise ;)
ReplyDeleteYeah, that crucifix is pretty eye-catching!
ReplyDeleteThat cake is so incredible!!
ReplyDeleteI thought so, too! Although I'm not sure how much of the bottom is really cake...John, on the other hand, made a face and said, "That's not food". Men!
ReplyDeleteThe look he has when he sees her is so priceless! Beautiful! You have such a beautiful blog with beautiful stories to tell.
