This week I'm loving taking advantage of everything San Francisco has to offer in the month of August (rosé, avocado toast, stone fruit, oh my!), a fantastic dinner with new friends, and lots of beautiful bits from around the internet. Some of my favorites are below!

This vineyard fête is absolutely lovely.

A Beautiful Morning

Wednesday, August 5, 2015

I don't often post engagement shoots, but these images by Eric Kelley were simply too gorgeous not to share. Here's hoping we all have a few mornings this beautiful.

P.S. A peek at their classic Southern celebration.

Majolica

Tuesday, August 4, 2015

When I saw this photo of a fabulous pair of Ferragamos, I was immediately drawn not to them, but rather to the stunning setting. My mother has a collection of blue and white Majolica pottery that hung in my childhood kitchen (painted a cheerful yellow with blue and white tile), and this lovely image took me back there immediately. A testament to the emotional impact of small details on your big day!

Daphne

Thursday, January 8, 2015

This week I'm loving classic details like long lace sleeves and engraved invitations, a bounty of beautiful veggies after a bit of indulgent eating, and the first full week of the new year-isn't it exciting? It's also a little less than four months until we say "I do" again, and I am checking things off the list left and right!

The floral arrangements at this Northern California celebration will leave you speechless.

This Brooklyn wedding beautifully marries modern and rustic elements.

This New Year's Eve celebration in gold & black is terribly fun and festive.

This Northern California fête is sunny, sweet, and features the loveliest escort card table I think I've ever seen!

I'm absolutely smitten with this intimate wedding featured on Magnolia Rouge.

Country club inspiration for the classic bride.

Tell me, what are you loving this week?

Stephanie & Brian

Wednesday, January 7, 2015

Though Stephanie and Brian live in London and got engaged in Paris, they picked the bride's alma mater, Indiana University of Bloomington, to tie the knot. The couple thoughtful incorporated details that represented their world-wide adventure into their wintry wedding, starting with delicate ivory and navy invitations from Double Bravo Designs.

Stephanie wore a 50's lace gown from a vintage bridal shop in London; an elbow length tulle veil and a pair of ivory Fendi peep toes completed her classic look. She carried a classic rose and tuberose bouquet by event planner Cathy Teeters, tied with "something blue" (an ink-stained handkerchief that her grandfather passed down to her father) and finished with "something borrowed" (her grandmother's brooch). Brian's bespoke Paul Smith suit paired beautifully with his black Paul Smith shoes, a simple Gucci tie and a pair of vintage cufflinks his new wife had given him years earlier.

The intimate Beck Chapel served as the perfect ceremony site for this romantic pair, and after exchanging vows and antique wedding rings, the couple and their nearest and dearest headed across the snowy campus to the Indiana Memorial Union for a candlelight supper. After a slice of cake from their three-tiered Sugar and Spice confection, the new Mr and Mrs danced cheek to cheek to "Si tu vois ma mère". The theme song to Midnight in Paris was the perfect way to honor their engagement in Paris and start their married life off on the right foot.

Many, many thanks to photographer Eric Rudd for sharing these beautiful images with me; I can't image a more perfect way to start the new year! Tell me, what's your favorite photo or detail from this wintry wedding?
