This week I'm loving having my sweetheart home, piles and piles of fabulous things to read (my favorite activity), and lots of gorgeous inspiration as we get just three months from the big day! Tell me, what are you loving lately?

This garden-inspired Brooklyn wedding is simply lovely.

A little over the top and totally divine.

Mad about this German destination celebration.

I adore a bride who's not afraid to break with tradition-especially when the results are so lovely.

It's Monday, and while that normally wouldn't be cause for too much excitement, this particular Monday afternoon brings my sweet guy home to me! To say I'm delighted is an understatement-I've been looking forward to this so much that I even skipped Indian food on Friday night so that we could enjoy it together this evening!

So what do I do when I'm not eating Indian food on a Friday night? Well this past Friday, I met a girlfriend for a drink (or two) at the Ferry Building which turned into a quarter of the appetizers on the menu and drinking a bottle of Garnacha back at my apartment! I didn't think once about tikka masala, though Laura and I spent plenty of time talking about our usual Friday night dates.

I was up early Saturday morning and after catching up with John, headed to Hollow to grab a chai, a chicken-apple sausage empanada and a cozy corner table. Then I dashed downtown to meet a girlfriend at Flax to pick up some art supplies, and we headed to Paper Source because neither of us can get enough of good stationery! After an alfresco lunch and lemonades at Arlequin, I headed home to work on a few wedding projects and make progress on my to-do list. I spent the rest of the evening devouring my latest read, thought I did manage to pause briefly for a little avocado toast topped with a poached egg-single girl Saturday night!

I let the Sunday sun wake me, and cooked up a big Mexican breakfast in preparation for a full day. After cleaning house and doing laundry, I dashed downtown to no less than 2 different libraries to pick up literary supplies. I squeezed in some time for inspiration before diving into work, my best distraction while John's been gone. After a little workout with Mary Helen Bowers, I whipped up a simple pesto supper and brought my books and laptop into bed for a truly thrilling Sunday night.

Tell me, what were you up to this weekend? Did you watch the Super Bowl or throw a festive viewing party? Or were you otherwise occupied this Sunday like I was? Can't wait to hear all about it!

This week I'm loving the elegant pairing of ivory and green, invitations to Thanksgiving dinners and holiday celebrations, and lots of very lovely links after some time away! Tell me, what are you loving this week?

Speaking of Thanksgiving, these leftovers printables from Oh Happy Day are practical and chic!

I love this wine country wedding photographed by Christina McNeill.

The light in these fall photos is divine.

This winter wedding captured by Branco Prata is so stunning, I can't stop thinking about it.

This Palm Springs celebration marries classic and modern, and is serving as serious inspiration.

Julie & Brian

When your groom's family has a beautiful estate in Rutherford, why would you tie the knot anyplace else? The couple was inspired by Gosford Park, Downton Abbey and fabulous high society fêtes, and worked with the team at Lyndsey Hamilton Events to create a scene straight from their favorite British novels. Ivory and brown invitations with a woodland theme from Sugar Paper set the tone for this elegant late-summer affair.

Julie wore a statuesque Vera Wang gown and embellished Valentino sandals, and carried a classic bouquet of white roses with sage and dusty miller by Sharla Flock Designs. Julie's attendants wore spectacular printed gowns, while Brian and his groomsmen wore classic black tie.

After exchanging their vows and Cartier bands before double doors flanked by magnolia leaf garlands, the newlyweds and their guests headed to the lawn for Champagne by the pool. Dinner was served in the bosque, where antique books, taxidermied woodland creatures and white arrangements in silver vessels by Sharla Flock Designs decorated the long tables and lanterns hung from sycamore trees. Vintage Parisian postcards served as place cards, and the bride's French heritage inspired the Paula LeDuc menu, from oysters served with Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé to a fabulous croquembouche just like the one served at the bride's parents' wedding. After dinner, dancing and a quick change for the bride into an Alexander Wang cocktail dress, guests gathered around fire pits for a nightcap before heading home with English breakfast tea from LAMILL, treats from Bouchon Bakery and memories of one spectacular evening captured by the team at Docuvitae!

Tell me, what's your favorite detail of this fabulous fête? I'm partial to all those gorgeous magnolia leaves and beautiful white blooms!
