How I wish that I could say this weekend was completely different from the last. That I hung out in my pjs, curled up with John to watch an episode of West Wing in the late afternoon, leisurely shopped the farmer's market and made progress on my favorite projects. Instead, I was running our office move, overseeing teams with TVs and office chairs, numbered labels and more orange crates than I care to count. But today, we have a fresh start in a new space, and even though I am dying to take a nap under my desk, the sense of accomplishment isn't so bad.
Tell me, what were you up to this weekend? Attending a gorgeous fall wedding, perhaps, watching a movie with your best girlfriends or sipping mulled cider?
Congrats on the new space. it is always hard work but the feeling if accomplishment makes up for it :) This weekend was about enjoying the fall foliage finally showing up and just relaxing. By the way, I finally watched The Men Who Built America and loved it. Thanks for the recommendation.
ReplyDeleteThat is a STUNNING bouquet.
ReplyDeleteIt's always exciting to move to a new space, the possibilities, the chance to start fresh... I love that feeling!!! Oh and bouquet is absolutely stunning!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou must be exhausted! I too am in the middle of re-decorating my office and am completely stressed out by the chaos! I know it will be worth it soon enough, but in the meantime, it's tough. I'm glad you got through it quickly and are pleased with your progress!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is! Luckily Monday went off without a hitch, but I could sure use a nap!
