Me and you, just us two.

I knew this wedding was a winner when John, looking over my shoulder, said "That's gorgeous." And boy is it ever. Mel and Geoff meet as NYU undergrads and tied the knot in the Big Apple with their photographers, Justin & Mary Marantz, also serving as witnesses. The pair dressed at The Pierre Hotel (it was the image of him zipping up her vintage Armani skirt that floored John), then brought along their adorable pug for an outdoor ceremony at City Hall Park. After exchanging rings, the newlyweds indulged in a celebratory dinner at Bubby's and found themselves embracing in the autumn rain.

An enormous thank you to Justin and Mary Marantz for sharing these gorgeous imagesthey've got me dreaming of a romantic weekend in the Big Apple! Tell me, do you have a favorite photo from this beautiful day?

  7. Ethan really wanted to elope, but I just couldn't not include my family who I am so close with. This photo-shoot is stunning (from start to finish), and makes me a little wistful for something similar.

  12. It takes guts to take most of your photos in black and white. These come out "Old Hollywood Esc" and I love it. It's like they are in the romantic era of the 1940s...Beautiful! Perhaps you would like my blog as well, Present an Event - a blog on weddings, parties and event planning.
