"Women know
The way to rear up children (to be just)
They know a simple, merry, tender knack
Of tying sashes, fitting baby shoes,
And stringing pretty words that make no sense
And kissing full sense into empty words."
Elizabeth Barrett Browning
John and I are still in Texas, recovering from one wonderful celebration. Since we arrived on Thursday, there have been delicious meals, Shiner beers and strong margaritas, reunions with dear old friends, boot shopping, a little dancing, a bit more shooting and a window or two that will need replacing, and best of all, a truly beautiful wedding. We're packing up the teasing combs and tuxedos and heading home tonight, but I'm already dreaming about our next trip to TX!
What were you up to this weekend? A last wedding of the season, or maybe some pumpkin picking?
