The Usual, Mommy?

Saturday, March 26, 2011

I was tickled when I stumbled across this adorable illustration of Sally Draper mixing up cocktails for Mommy (aka Betty Francis, formerly Draper)-isn't it hysterical? We won't be serving too many of the drinks from this list, although the Manhattan and the Tom Collins will be on offer. Curious about what else John and I will be shaking up? Just check out the list below!

Martini
Gimlet
Aviation
Ramos Gin Fizz
Clover Club
Tom Collins
Bee's Knees
Airmail
Martinez
Cap Haitian
Daiquiri No. 1, 2 and 3
Old Fashioned
Manhattan
Mint Julep
Sazerac
Whiskey Sour
Champagne Cocktail
Margarita

  1. Hahaha that's funny! :)
The Slow Gin Fizz was the first drink my mother ever drank, before her wedding at her shower. I think she had three, and then threw up in my parents new apartment, and they had to clean it up! I don't think I would ever try one! BUT I do want to try a martini one day...AND a Mint Julep! Sounds so refreshing! :)

  9. Hahahaha! Hilarious! I love Mad Men. My hubby & I always have a giggle at their tongue-in-cheek antics that would be considered politically incorrect or just downright unhealthy in this day & age :-)
