The classic floral theme and shades of Tiffany blue were a perfect nod to this all-American couple and the groom's alma mater, Georgetown, and the lady bug perched on one of the flowers' leaves was a nod to the bride's childhood nickname, Katie Bug.
These high school sweethearts decided to get hitched in Georgetown, DC, a charming neighborhood filled with chic shops, sweet restaurants and cobblestone streets. They were married in Grace Episcopal Church and then braved 106º heat for all those adorable photos, include a break for sweets at Georgetown Cupcake!
The bride wore a stunning Amsale gown and completed the look with shoes from Enzo Angiolini and a pearl bracelet from J.Crew. Her bridesmaids also wore J.Crew dresses, while the men wore classic suits from Ralph Lauren. Clean, bright blooms in ivory shades by Holly Chapple Flowers provided the perfect accompaniment to the couple's impeccable style.
Guests sipped the groom's favorite orange sodas to stay cool, and enjoyed dinner at Sequoia, whose stunning waterfront location provides views of Washington Harbor. An elegant Georgetown affair for a bulldog and his bride!
Such an enchanting wedding! And I just adore her dress :)
