Mandarin Champagne Punch

Friday, July 11, 2014

We're off to Florida tonight, so I thought it was only appropriate to share an orange cocktail perfectly suited to the Sunshine State. After our red eye flight, I think I'll be ready for one (or two) of these potent punches!

Mandarin Champagne Punch

1 1/2 oz Hangar 1 Mandarin Blossom vodka
3/4 oz peach schnapps
1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
Champagne

Combine vodka, peach schnapps and freshly squeezed juice in a shaker with ice. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with Champagne and garnish with strips of fresh mint.

Notes: This cocktail is our take on a classic–the disgustingly named Hairy Navel. Freshly squeezed juice, Hangar 1's Mandarin Blossom vodka and a touch of Champagne elevate this punch line into a positively delectable cocktail–cheers!
