Stephanie & Zach

After many years as friends and a few more as long distance loves, once New York City couple Stephanie and Zach were engaged, they wanted to be married as soon as possible. When Stephanie's boss and Luxembourg & Dayan gallery owner heard she was planning a wedding, Amalia Dayan and her husband generously offered their Montauk home for the ceremony. Soon the pair was working with Lauren Sozmen of Loli Events to design a celebration as chic as the contemporary art-filled home where they would exchange their vows.

Stephanie wore an understated custom column gown by designer and friend Katie Ermilio; paired with a Satya Twena birdcage veil, nude Christian Louboutin wedges and a white bouquet with sprigs of lavender from Amagansett Flowers by Beth, she was the picture of bridal sophistication. Zach wore a classic gray suit and a baby blue tie that matched the sea.

On the big day, guests were escorted down a long gravel path to the hand-crafted huppah hung with family prayer shawls that overlooked the Atlantic. After saying "I do" in a ceremony officiated by Rabbi Sarna, the NYU Hillel rabbi and the groom's friend, the newlyweds stole a few quiet moments together at The Inn at Windmill Lane before joining the revelers, who were each greeted by hand written notes from the couple. The impeccably manicured gardens of the Inn were reimagined as luxurious outdoor living rooms complete with day beds, lanterns and glasses of lavender Champagne. After a Mediterranean feast by Peter Ambrose Events Catering beneath a classic Sperry Tent, the guests danced the night away, stopping only for a slice of cake from Tates Bakery and sweets baked by the bride's mother. As it grew late, everyone crowded around fire pits to roast marshmallows and make s'mores–the sweetest end to a perfect day.

Many thanks to Trent & Dara of Trent Bailey Photography for sharing these beautiful images, processed by Indie Film Lab, with me; I try hard not to play favorites, but this celebration is spectacular!
