Lauren & Eron

Wednesday, April 2, 2014

Eron and Lauren had spent many years as friends, but after a trip to New York, the pair was quickly inseparable. When planning their wedding, they wanted to honor their Brooklyn digs and favorite haunts, starting with a morning at home. Lauren wore a scalloped shift from BHLDN and chartreuse peep toes from Kate Spade, while Eron cut a handsome figure in a navy Brooks Brothers suit. After portraits beside the Brooklyn Bridge, the pair headed to Prospect Park; architect Eron adores The Boathouse in Prospect Park, and the viewing platform was the perfect place for the couple to exchange vows in an intimate ceremony. Guests toasted the new Mr and Mrs with plentiful Prosecco before heading to Frankies 457 for a sumptuous Italian feast. Local Alt-Americana band Red Rooster played in the garden's rustic stable, while Amy Febinger of Bourgeon filled the dining room with white linens, burlap runners and delicate arrangements of peonies and wildflowers. Along with elegant menus at each place setting, couples received a Frankies 457 cookbook with a handwritten note from Lauren and Eron, telling them how special it was to have celebrated their wedding day together.

Luckily for the newlyweds, they also had the talented Lauren Gabrielle there to capture each gorgeous moment; tell me, what's your favorite image or detail from this Brooklyn celebration?
