winter bride in vintage fur shrug

Though most brides probably don't hope for snow on their big day, a cozy weekend in the mountains sounds like one of the most romantic ways to tie the knot! Liz and Nick chose Sundance Resort in Utah to host their nuptials; the wintry locale was perfect for blending rustic charm and understated elegance. With the help of planner Brittany Farley of Something Blue Weddings & Events, the newlyweds hosted an intimate celebration for their closest friends and family.

Liz wore a vintage fur stole and an ivory lace gown from Wtoo, charmingly complimented by her bridesmaids navy lace dresses by Nicole Miller. Classic Hunter boots in lemon and navy kept feet dry during snowy portraits, but the bride couldn't resist a pretty pair of Badgley Mischka peep toes when she said "I do". Nick and his groomsmen looked handsome in charcoal gray suits from Banana Republic, brown boots and pale blue striped bowties.

Rev. Gregory Kazolas officiated the ceremony, also witnessed by the couple's two dogs, and after exchanging their first kiss as husband and wife, guests celebrated with a sumptuous supper. Simple white floral arrangements by Artisan Bloom and flickering votives filled the reception space with light, and DJ Craig Chambers of Disc Connection, Inc. provided music for dinner and dancing. Liz and Nick treated their guests to pie before bundling up and trekking back to their snowy cabin in the woods, and Rebekah Westover Photography was there to capture each romantic moment of their celebration.

Many thanks to Rebekah for sharing her wonderful images, first spotted on Elizabeth Anne Designs; tell me, what images or details do you love most from this wintry wedding?
