A weekend in the French Alps, Champagne chilling in the snow, and the love of friends and family surrounding you–I can't imagine a more romantic way to wed!
Kate wore a gauzy drop-waist gown from Le Spose di Gio with a custom lace top and peachy satin sandals with crystals from Miu Miu; opera-length Vera Wang gloves and a Delphine Manivet hood kept her warm in the wintry weather. Rob looked handsome a classic Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, patent leather Prada lace-ups and a bowtie from Lanvin.
White and grey invitations from Paper + Cup Design with modern calligraphy by Hazel Wonderland invited guests to join the couple at two separate events–an intimate dinner party at L'Alpaga for the couple's families, then a rustic repast at Le Refuge for a second celebration with their closest friends. Though the shower of sparklers was magical, that weekend in the mountains sparked new friendship and deeper love–truly the sign of a wonderful wedding.
Many thanks to the wonderful Aneta of Aneta MAK for sharing these spectacular image–tell me, what's your favorite detail or image from this fabulous fête?
