What do you think you could pull off in six weeks? Certainly a stellar holiday party, or a refurnished living room–but if you're this gorgeous bride, you'd also say "wedding" with the help of planner Lynn Lee of Weddings Unveiled and stylist Catalina Bloch!
Savannah wore a lace gown by Mikaella Bridal, paired with a matching shrug from Dow’s Lake Tailoring and a vintage fur stole; brown crocodile Mary Janes, large Mother of pearl studs and a aubergine manicure finished the look. Her groom Joel chose a handsome charcoal gray pinstripe Canali Suit from Morgante Menswear, a dark tie and classic tie clip, and a printed pocket square, which set off his feather and acorn boutonniere perfectly.
The pair exchanged their vows into an outdoor ceremony at a private residence in Ottawa, and after a Champagne toast, enjoyed a late afternoon lunch catered by Lynda Hosking of The Whalesbone Catering. Dinner was held at the chic downtown Shore Club, where guests indulged in a raw bar, a sumptuous fall feast including beet salad, wild mushroom ravioli and filet mignon, and of course, a few more bottles of bubbly! For dessert, the groom's family baked a black forest wedding cake, which proved to be the perfect ending to this romantic, intimate celebration!
Many thanks to Joel & Justyna of Joel Bedford Photography for sharing your beautiful images with me; I'm absolutely head over heels in love! Tell me, what's your favorite photo or detail from Savannah and Joel's big day?
I love the feel of these photos. There's something a little grainy about how she developed them and I like it. Adds to the classiness of it.
