Madison and Vincent

Pink and navy palette, and a "wildly elegant" look–you can bet I'm in love with this Central California celebration!

When Vincent proposed to Madison, she started planning a June wedding immediately–peony season waits for no bride! Scroll-covered invitations from Aerialist Press calligraphied by Little Miss Press invited guests to join the soon-to-be-weds at The Shrine of St. Therese, the site of many of the groom's family weddings, and then onto the couple's alma mater, Fresno State, for their outdoor reception.

On a gorgeous June day, Madison stepped into her gauzy Amsale gown, paired with a simple veil, silk satin peep toes and a crystal-encrusted sash. Her lush bouquet of white and petal pink peonies and roses by Modern Day Design looked demure beside the bright pink posies of peonies that set off the bridesmaid's matching navy silk chiffon dresses, while Vincent and his groomsmen looked dapper in black tuxedos and ties.

Though Madison didn't have a theme in mind when she began planning, her pins and clippings took the shape of a romantic garden party. After a traditional Mass at The Shrine of St. Therese presided over by the same priest who united the groom's parents years before, Madison and Vincent returned to their college campus where Joy de Vivre Wedding Coordination along with florist Modern Day Design created a romantic, flower-filled fête on the lawn of The Smittcamp Alumni House. La Tavola's "Peony" linens were draped over round tables, and pink and white arrangements of peonies, garden roses, and tulips were tucked into milk glass vases and lit by mercury glass votives. After dinner catered by Pardini’s, the love birds cut into their four-tier confection from Sweet Dreams Cakery with the bride's grandfather's WWII sword–the perfect sweet ending to a gorgeous wedding day!

Many thanks to Raya Carlisle for letting me share her beautiful images–tell me, what's your favorite for framing?
