Laura and Chris

When the bride and groom both spent happy summers on Cape Cod, it's hard to imagine another place they'd tie the knot–and when the bride also happens to be a designer, you can be certain it'll be a beautiful wedding! Laura and Chris fell hard for the Beach House Grill at Chatham Bars Inn; the nautical details and understated elegance suited this couple's style perfectly, and seafoam blue invitations from Minted that matched the Grill's bistro chairs invited family and friends to celebrate by the sea!

Laura wore a lace-trimmed Martina Liana gown, a simple veil and jeweled sandals, which paired beautifully with her white peony bouquet by New England Gardens, just as her maid of honor's peony posy matched her blush colored gown. Chris and his best man wore J.Crew suits which will no doubt see future weddings and fancy dinners!

After exchanging vows in an outdoor ceremony on the beach-front lawn, the newlyweds sipped cocktails on the deck and danced with their Bob Marley tribute band, Duppy Conquerors. Their luxe but laid-back dinner and a slice of the three-tiered wedding cake eaten, the newlyweds enjoyed a sparkler send off–and headed just across the street where the wedding festivities continued well into the night!

A big thank you to Stacey Hedman, who generously shared her beautiful images with me–don't you wish you'd been invited to this beach-side celebration?
