When an East Coast couple marries in Texas and sweetens the evening with few San Francisco treats–well, it just hits too close to home for this girl to pass up!
Stephanie and Sean worked closely with The Nouveau Romantics, who planned and designed the flowers, the stationary and this spectacular celebration, to welcome their friends and family to their new home town. There was no better place than Austin's Barr Mansion to combine the bride's classic style and the groom's rustic sensibilities!
Stephanie wore a textured Vera Wang gown and gold Jimmy Choo wedges, accessorized with an understated fingertip veil and simple jewelery. Her bridesmaids wore classic black cocktail dresses of their choosing, and the groom stood apart from his black-tie clad groomsmen in a striped three piece suit and grey linen bowtie.
After a traditional ceremony beneath a dahlia and snowberry-covered chuppah that incorporated the bride's family tallit, guests enjoyed cocktails and Mariachi Jalisco, a local mariachi band, on the lawn. The Nouveau Romantics used the mansion's lush gardens to bring the outside in to the rustic ballroom; the oak leaf canopies complemented the petite arrangements tucked into mercury glass containers. The organic menu was locally-sourced, and after dinner, guests enjoyed the couple's favorite sweets from Walton’s Fancy and Staple, Sugarfina, Miette and Liddabit, along with slices of wedding cake–white with chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream. Jelly shots from LM Cocktail Catering fueled the celebration well into the evening–and made the snapshots from Magnolia Photo Booth Co. that much more memorable!
Many, many thanks to The Nichols for sharing these gorgeous images with me–they've inspired me to combine my classic sensibility with John's rustic side in our home and our wedding!
