A modern day love story: boy sees gorgeous girl, girl notices handsome boy, boy posts a Missed Connection on Craigslist and two years later, they're tying the knot! Can you imagine a sweeter end to a Craigslist post?I cer
Jenny and Jordan started with their venue, the gorgeous Durham Ranch in St. Helena (if you're in the mood for some swoon-worthy home decor, check out the House Beautiful feature!), and worked with Laurie Arons Special Events to craft a celebration that was as fresh, clean and lovely as the location. Classic taupe invitations from Pose Prints, the bride's stationery company, were beautifully tailored to the newlywed's style and the relaxed event.
Jenny wore an Amy Kuschel gown modeled after the "Ballet" design, paired with gray Badgley Mischka sandals, chandelier earrings and a simple veil. Bridesmaids wore champagne-colored J.Crew dresses while the groomsmen's suits were rented from Selix, and Jordan invested in a dove gray Gian Decaro suit.
Bouquets and arrangements by Kathleen Deery Designs in shades of blush were charming against La Tavola linens in gray and white polka dot, and pieces from her custom furniture collection, Urban Parlour by Kathleen Deery Designs created inviting lounge areas on the property. The groom's brother-in-law, celebrity chef Tyler Florence worked with Paula LeDuc Fine Catering to create a late-summer menu for the newlyweds that included a bibb lettuce salad, fried chicken, mac & cheese, black-eyed peas and summer vegetables, accompanied by the Michael LaMacchia Trio. After dinner, guests hit the dance floor with Notorious and sweets from the blush dessert buffet by Paula LeDuc Fine Catering and PS Paper.. And lucky for us, Meg Smith Photography and associate photographer Lianna Milton were on hand to capture each gorgeous moment–I wouldn't have wanted to miss even one!
