Christine and Thomas

I'm a girl who loves a good dose of red, but it can be a tricky color; too much or not enough and it misses its mark, but bold, fearless color like this makes me weak in the knees!

Bride Christine, a fashion stylist, loves jewel tones, and wanted a celebration as distinctive and gorgeous as the newlyweds; obviously Cynthia Martyn Events and Fuscia Designs, Toronto-based florist were up to the task! Invitations by Deborah Lau-Yu of PALETTERA Custom Correspondences were as modern as they were luxe, and might have almost prepared guests for this spectacular celebration.

The bride wore a custom lace peplum gown by Arthur Mendonca, also the designer of the bridesmaids' fabulous jewel-toned sheaths, paired with an outrageous pair of buckled red patent Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and diamond earrings and a matching necklace from Victoria Fine Jewellery. Thomas wore an Isaia suit, Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and two Tom Ford bowties–white for the traditional ceremony, black for the reception. Groomsmen wore Hugo Boss suits and Prada ties.

After a traditional Catholic ceremony, the pair headed to the groom's restaurant, Fermenting Cellar, for their opulent reception. In addition to striking ruby floral arrangements by Fuscia Designs, there was a cigar roller, a Portuguese guitarist and a jazz band, a towering confection from Lori Hutchinson of The Caketress and bottles of extra virgin olive oil from the bride's native Portugal as favors. The reception was the perfect black tie dinner party–and ART HAUS FOTO captured it magnificently!

Tell me, what's your favorite detail of this stunning celebration?

  20. For a niche, wide fitting footwear has steadily been completing with products from major famous brands. After all, not everyone has feet that should adhere to the basic sizes made available from many mainstream Isabel Marant athletic shoe brands. Those that have more expansive feet often know the difficulties in regards to shopping for shoes.
