Something about that slice of orange beneath a heavenly cloud of tulle and satin is truly irresistible–and so impossibly fresh.

What draws you to an image? Is it color, detail, or perhaps the mood? I've been thinking a lot about this lately, and I'm a sucker for composition–not so much what, but how a shot's made up.

  2. I love the ragged line of the tulle juxtaposed with the clean slice of heel. As always, brilliant interpretation!

  5. I love how the dress seems to be never ending. I was just talking to Mr. Branflake about composition, about how no matter what the subject is, if the photograph isn't at the right angle, everything looks weird.

  8. Any photo that is creative &/or dramatic lures me in! I'm a longtime fan of Susan Baker so it comes as no surprise that she shot this fabulous photo.
