While I love San Francisco, I consider myself a New York girl at heart; I was raised in Princeton, less than an hour from the city, and spent most weekends in Midtown or the Upper West Side for voice lessons and rehearsals. So when I spotted this Central Park wedding full of sunshine-y shades, I knew it was the perfect celebration for this week!
After deciding on the Loeb Boathouse, the couple designed an event to compliment the venue's classic feel and the lush colors of summer in Central Park. Small apothecary bottles and petite chalkboards in industrial metal frames dotted each table, and guests found their escort cards (plus Starbucks favors) tucked into card catalogs.
The bride wore a stunning architectural gown and jewelry by Vera Wang and dainty nude peep toes by Christian Louboutin. Her bridesmaids wore Priscilla of Boston dresses made of lemony chiffon, and the groom and his groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos. After an intimate, joyful ceremony, guests were lead into a ballroom filled with summer flowers, arranged by Lenox Hill Florist, where an elegant meal was followed by decadent desserts and a sunny ruffled cake by Mark Joseph Cakes. FS Photography and McKenzie Miller Films teamed up to capture each beautiful moment, and if you have a spare moment, their wedding video (found here) is not to be missed!
What's your favorite element of this Big Apple celebration?
