Ana and Javier

Jaw dropping, right? I'll admit that such a decadent affair isn't usually my style, but this Miami celebration in shades of pink was too perfect to pass up this Valentine's week!

Ana and Javier, who live in Ecuador, decided to marry in Miami shortly after their engagement; the bride credits Monica of International Event Design with making their beautiful celebration possible.

The pair began their wedding day at the Mondrian Hotel in Miami Beach, and planned an extended first look photo session with photographers KT and Chad of KT Merry. Ana wore a custom-made gown and cathedral length veil made in Ecuador, while Javier wore a classic black tuxedo. After a traditional Catholic service, the newlyweds and their 150 guests celebrated in Ana's mother's backyard–can you believe what that gorgeous lawn? Wedding planner Monica designed a French garden-inspired reception with lush flowers from Petal Productions; the elegant meal by Chef Larz was complimented by Ana Paz's five tier confection, covered in pink roses and white orchids. And perhaps even sweeter than the cake was Ana's waltz with her father, and her first dance with her new husband.

  3. Oh my, that dress is just stunning. I don't normally like gowns with so much volume at the bottom, but this is an exception. It's just gorgeous.
