Vampire Blues
1 1/2 oz of bourbon
1/2 oz of East India Solera Sherry
1/2 oz of fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
1 teaspoon pumpkin butter
2 dashes Angostura bitters
cinnamon stick
Combine bourbon, sherry, lemon juice, syrup, pumpkin butter and Angostura bitters in shaker with ice; shake for 10 seconds. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass, garnish with cinnamon stick.
I'm not usually a bourbon drinker, but between the sherry and the pumpkin butter, I promise you'll suddenly be singing that brown booze's praises!

ReplyDeleteOh, you said Baltimore! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI love anything pumpkin - and I had a shot once that was just like pumpkin pie. I've never been able to figure out what it was, but this looks like it would have the same effect. This holiday season though I've been living off of mulled wine and mulled mead.
