Poire Plus
Fill a champagne flute with 3/4 oz of Poire Williams or other pear eau-de-vie, then top with your favorite sparkler. Garnish with a pear slice, if desired.
This is another outrageously simple cocktail, but there's no fighting such a divine drink! I would chose a fairly dry Champagne or Crémant for this libation, so the flavors of the pear brandy won't be overpowered by a sweeter sparkler.
Cheers, darlings, and be on the lookout for many more fall flavors in the weeks to come!
Cheers!!! Have a fantastic weekend!!!

I looove pear-flavored cocktails and this is perfect for winter approaching! Thanks Lena!
ReplyDeleteDelicious! I love finding new uses for Poire William. My favorite cocktail recipe ever is a lemon, pear and rosemary martini. You make a simple syrup with sugar, water, and rosemary. Then you let it cool and pour it into a pitcher with Poire William, fresh lemon juice, vodka and crushed ice. Amazing and will knock you off your feet unless you use a LOT of ice!
