Maybe I watched The Wizard of Oz one too many times as a kid, but if there's one thing I can't ever resist, it's cherry red shoes. These divine Manolo Blahnik d'Orsay peep toes are no exception.
What was your favorite childhood movie, and do you think it's impacted your personal style? I'm wearing a blue gingham shirt as I write this, so I think it's safe to say Dorothy has affected mine!
So cute! My sister and I love the Wizard of Oz...have you seen this Style Me Pretty shoot? I'm obsessed and I bet you'd love it too! http://bit.ly/lFrF8K My favorite movie was Beauty and the Beast...I don't think it's exactly affected my style, but I do love yellow and everything French, so maybe? :) Hope you're having a good week! Lisa xoxo
hmmm..... favorite childhood movie? i'd say goonies, or wizard of oz, or alice in wonderland. though i'd love to see a goonies inspired wedding shoot, that could be comical.
who doesn't LOVE wizard of oz! we were just in the movies the other day and there was this shitty little hurricane simulator...and i was all...why didn't they just make it a tornado simulator and link it to Wizard of Oz....then everyone would be doing it?
aww I love it! those shoes are sooo sweet :) Hands down it was beauty and the Beast. I worn my hair in that twisted pony tail forEVER when I was little.. and still sorta do on bla days. I think it just always made me want to be kind. noot so much the style but definatly just have that feminin and grace :)
those shoes are pure bliss. I think my fave film as a kid was the little mermaid. I always wanted to dye my hair red but I lack the balls to actually do it.
A gingham shirt while typing this - I love that! There is only one word for these shoes - divine. My favorite movie was/is Dirty Dancing. I don't think it affected my personal style but I've never fallen out of love with Patrick Swayze so I guess that's something... ;)
i loved and still love peter pan, i don't think it influenced my style but i was a tiny bit obsessed with pirates when the series began and i definitely wore lots of stripes, gold and weathered denim for a while.
Ha! That's such a good question. I don't really know if I was influenced by one of my favorite childhood movies, in terms of style. I guess that would mean I'd be wanting to dress in poufy princess gowns all the time (which is soooo not the case!). However, I'm with you on the shoes. Since the ruby slippers, I have such a soft spot for any shoe that's red and glittery.
