Engaged: Naomi and Rich

Wednesday, September 7, 2011

I know that Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer, but I couldn't resist sharing this gorgeous Coney Island engagement while you're all still in flip flops and sundresses. Those of us here in San Francisco are waiting for that one day in October when we can pull out the single sundress we haven't donated, so these sunshine-filled photos are the dose of vitamin D we need!

Naomi and Rich frequently went to Coney Island while they were dating, and one day Rich popped the question in the No. 5 blue car of the Wonder Wheel-my carnival loving heart just melted! They took photographer Laura Boyd with them back to the boardwalk for these darling photos and those delicious crinkle cut french fries from the original Nathan's Famous-can't you just feel that little red fork in your hands, or is that an East Coast phenomena? Their wedding is just days away in Dumbo, Brooklyn, and I can't wait for the photos!

What's your favorite summertime spot? Is it the boardwalk back home, the lake nearby or the sprinkler in your yard?

  8. My fave summer time spot is definitely my in-law's lake house! But I love going to a carnival/fair and I'd love going to a boardwalk if I were lucky enough to find one. These pictures are darling and I'm sure their wedding will be too!

  15. That post definitely made me hungry! I've recently discovered the joys of the Gulf Coast (native East Coaster that I am). It's lovely, and much closer than my dear Cape May!
