Ombré has made its way into table design, nail art and even hair color recently, but I think this confection by
Cake Coquette in San Francisco is my favorite incarnation of the trend! I prefer the deepening of a single shade to multiple colors, but I think that's just the perfectionist in me-how do you take your ombré, or are you tired of the look?

ReplyDeleteThat is the most stylish cake! I'm love the ombre trend. I'm not a big fan of it on clothes, but I do like it on nails and hair (and cake!).
ReplyDeleteI think it's perfect! It's so simple, but elegant.
ReplyDeleteLOVELY! pink has to be the best color for that even though I'm not huge on pink...the salmon color in there is poppin' to me.
ReplyDeleteI don't think i will ever get tired of this look... Beautiful cake and setting!!
ReplyDeleteNow this is the type of ombre I can get into!
ReplyDeleteLovely cake, darling! I enjoy how the colors fade from dark to light. But that's just me.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a lovely day, Lena!

I LOVE ombre on cakes but I am not sure I can get behind the hair trend.
ReplyDeleteI think ombre in shades of pink is the very prettiest of all. I try to steer clear of trends but this one is far too gorgeous to pass over.
