I was inspired by the 1920s this week, and I think this iridescent pair of peep toes from Christian Louboutin was the perfect "something blue" for a flapper fête!
Ohhh how can you pick a favorite era?! There are so many fab things about all of them. I would be content in the 50's though in a apron with a cocktail in hand.
And now that I've regained the ability to think after staring at those AMAZING shoes for 10 minutes, my favorite era is the 1970s. I'm a sucker for wide leg trousers! xo style, she wrote
Girrrl, I'm inspired by the 1920's every week. You saw Midnight in Paris, right? It made me want to troll vintage shops for a shift dress and cut my hair into a bob. (And then move to Paris, naturally).

ReplyDeleteI think I like the 40's, I can't decide why but perhaps the movie The Notebook has something to do with it. Or Ryan Gosling in suspenders.
