Kathleen's blog,
Twig and Thistle, is totally irresistible; it's no surprise then, that the invitations she crafted for her youngest sister's bridal shower were absolutely gorgeous! Since it would be a lingerie shower with just her closest friends and plenty of sweets, Kathleen chose shades of pink, gold and white. The darling little envelope on the front of the invitation held an accordion card with all the party details-isn't it charming?
What kind of shower celebration is your favorite? I'm always amazed by how many different kinds of showers people throw for brides-to-be!
what's my favorite kind of shower? the kind with lots of tasty food!
ReplyDeleteMe, my mom and my sister go all out when it comes to putting out a nice spread! shower food is the best!
But as for themes, i sort of like the around the clock showers. And i always like the idea of having people bring a recipe + then creating a cook book for the couple.
Ha ha, there I go with the food again. :)
xo, chrissy.

ReplyDeleteperfect paper, indeed! I was actually flipping through a MS living and came across the most darling shower I have ever seen! For a mother to be. Her guests brought their favorite childhood books as gifts and all the decor was inspired by books and the stories in them. Cute, right?!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the sweet pink envelope. I'm becoming a fan of smaller parties for these types of celebrations. That way you can put it all into the details and keep it affordable!
