A classic solitaire and an eternity band like this one just make such a perfect pair, don't you agree? I feel like a ring like this could have belonged to your Mama or your grandmother just as easily as you!
Would you pick a timeless style, or do you prefer a ring that's more contemporary? Or maybe you wear a family heirloom: tell us all about your sparkler, or your dream left hand accomplice!
Timeless all the way! I want something that's always going to look classic and beautiful. I haven't done much thinking about my dream ring, but the one here is super gorgeous.
so pretty! i think since my engagement ring has diamonds on the sides i will go with something v simple for my wedding band :) xo jillian:: enter to win a $100 shopping spree!
That ring is stunning! I'm torn between the simplistic beauty of something like that, and a vintage inspired piece. Oh diamonds... they're so easy to love!
When I picked my ring, I definitely had exactly this in mind! Because to me, it has always been about the marriage, not the engagement? (Totally my own point of view) So I got a simple .4ct brilliant diamond and my wedding band will be feature more sparkles! :)
Those rings are superb. I have an heirloom engagement ring in a vintage setting and a diamond contour wedding band. A vintage take on the solitare/eternity combo!
This is my ring set except there are diamonds on the band of the engagement ring, too. I picked a more vintage design and my husband thought I would tire of it. I love this and the more traditional look but this set is definitely timeless! xo
I'm embarrassed to admit I recently started a pinterest board of engagement rings (despite the fact that the boy I've been seeing doesn't really have fiancee potential at all). I love rustic-looking rings so very much!
Pretty, pretty! My set is very similar. A round 6 prong solitaire, but with a pave band (with a few extra diamonds around the prongs), and a pave eternity wedding band. I love vintage heirloom style rings and initially thought that's what I would choose, but my husband designed my ring, which makes it more perfect than any heirloom ring I could find:)
This is my ring look pretty much - only fancier! I have a princess cut solitaire and my eternity band only goes half way around bt I love it. I mainly love it because I can take off the solitaire and just wear the band for a dainty touch!
well, we are in the process of discussing this very thing and this exact style has always been a front runner. The final choice is T's (he won't tell me anything beyond "It's happening this year and I already have the whole thing planned." love that boy.
Last year, on my grandmother's 80th birthday, she gifted me with her diamond ring, which was her mother's. I wish I could wear it every day but it is quite large. I asked how my great grandmother received it and my grandmother said that she went to NYC, to the diamond district, and bought it herself. I wonder what my great grandfather did? There is nothing quite like a family heirloom. xo Samantha

ReplyDeletethat's exactly what my ring looks like. :]
ReplyDeleteI think it would depend on my relationship, actually. I like classic, and I like contemporary, so I would want something that reflected my man. haha
ReplyDeleteClassic and so elegant! As you put it, timeless!
ReplyDeleteso pretty! i think since my engagement ring has diamonds on the sides i will go with something v simple for my wedding band :) xo jillian:: enter to win a $100 shopping spree!
ReplyDeleteI had a family heirloom... but I don't miss it :)
ReplyDeleteThat ring is stunning! I'm torn between the simplistic beauty of something like that, and a vintage inspired piece. Oh diamonds... they're so easy to love!
ReplyDeleteI'm torn as is Anna.
ReplyDeleteThe solitaire ring is lovely but I also love a ring that has a heirloom feel to it too.
When I picked my ring, I definitely had exactly this in mind! Because to me, it has always been about the marriage, not the engagement? (Totally my own point of view) So I got a simple .4ct brilliant diamond and my wedding band will be feature more sparkles! :)
ReplyDeleteMy wedding band is just like that one. I love it, it's classic and timeless! :)
ReplyDeleteI designed my own contemporary style ring with diamond that has been in my husbands family for awhile.
ReplyDeletedon't make me wish i had gone classic, lena! don't do it!
ReplyDeleteThose rings are superb. I have an heirloom engagement ring in a vintage setting and a diamond contour wedding band. A vintage take on the solitare/eternity combo!
ReplyDeleteI feel like my rings are a combination - hard to get it wrong, of course :)
ReplyDeleteThis is totally something I would pick. It IS timeless and totally beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFor now I settle on my silver/flea market finds. hehe

Gorgeous! I definitely wanted timeless and even a bit vintage looking.
ReplyDeleteThis is my ring set except there are diamonds on the band of the engagement ring, too. I picked a more vintage design and my husband thought I would tire of it. I love this and the more traditional look but this set is definitely timeless! xo
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted a ring like that... but with two wedding bands for one on each side. Something about the round diamond has always appealed to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm embarrassed to admit I recently started a pinterest board of engagement rings (despite the fact that the boy I've been seeing doesn't really have fiancee potential at all). I love rustic-looking rings so very much!
ReplyDeleteThese two are exactly my dream!!! mine was much much easier and simpler by far!!!I am more the classical type!!!How about you???? a big kiss

ReplyDeletei found myself leaning towards slightly more modern styles when we were ring searching, but i had to constantly remind myself not to go too trendy!
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't have the diamond studded band, but the classic solitaire and plain gold band I do! Simple is always so much more! in my eyes!

this is such a classic ring - a guy cannot go wrong. hint hint guys :)
ReplyDeleteI love the classic ring styles, though I designed my own
ReplyDeleteI am all for the vintage style. dreaming of someday owning a beautiful chic and classic piece.
ReplyDeleteThis is my ring look pretty much - only fancier! I have a princess cut solitaire and my eternity band only goes half way around bt I love it. I mainly love it because I can take off the solitaire and just wear the band for a dainty touch!
ReplyDeleteI love the classic and admittedly, my ring looks exactly like this. Call me biased.

ReplyDeleteI preferred classic, but now I want something a little bit different. I never did get a wedding band so I feel like I might get another and trade off.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I have a similar set but my engagement ring has diamonds around the band too. It's so gorgeous and I really do love it :) Xo
ReplyDeletethis is exactly what i have! except my engagement ring is a marquis cut. and i have no idea how to spell marquis. but u know what i mean.
ReplyDeleteso so so gorgeous. i'm totally drawn to this, but i ADORE my engagement ring because it's unique.

ReplyDeleteI used to want an elaborate vintage engagement ring, but lately i've been drawn to this simple classic!
ReplyDeletemy favorites are round stones, but i wanted something set flat in a bezel so it wouldnt catch on clothing. love this classic look tho :)
ReplyDeleteMy rings look almost exactly like that, so funny! And I have 12 diamonds on them in total, since I got married on the 12th :)
