Abby and Andrew

When a stylish blogger and genuinely wonderful girl gets hitched, you hope that her big day is nothing short of gorgeous. Abby exceeded everyone's expectations of how stunning her lemony Rhode Island nuptials would actually be, and in exchange, she married the man of her dreams-what a lucky girl!

Abby and her sweetheart Andrew met in Watch Hill, RI; six years later, when Andrew proposed, they knew they'd head back to Watch Hill to tie the knot. They chose the Ocean House for their classic summer wedding, and planned an event that celebrated the beauty of one of the country's most beautiful beaches.

The couple was married at Watch Hill Chapel, the bride in a Melissa Sweet Reverie gown she found at White Dress by the Shore. Her bridesmaids wore Jenny Yoo dresses in an irresistible shade of turquoise that they paired with yellow shoes, while Abby wore a pair of blue Kate Spade pumps. Andrew wore a navy suit while his groomsmen rocked navy blazers and khakis, and all wore custom ties by Vineyard Vines. Waiting outside the church was a Del's Lemonade truck, a perfect celebration of New England summers.

Sarah True of TRUE Event brought her love of lemon and her impeccable taste to the design of Abby and Andrew's celebration; they also worked with Emily of Paper Moss to create a stunning invitation suite, and carried her beautiful beach-inspired elements into every detail, from escort cards to welcome bags. Sayles Livingston Flowers artfully arranged white, ivory and yellow blooms that perfect suited this beach wedding's blissful feel, and guests were blown away by the attention to detail-just look at that gorgeous shutter escort card display, proudly built by Abby's dad!

The Brown Derbies, Brown's all men's a cappella group, serenaded guests during the cocktail hour in a nod to Andrew's college years, while Nancy Paolino & The Black Tie Band provided the reception music. My favorite musical moment (and certainly Abby's) was their first dance: her father sang the couple's favorite Paul McCartney song and accompanied himself on guitar. Lucky for us, Leila of Leila Brewster Photography and Julie and Libby of Elysium Productions were on hand to capture each beautiful moment.

Doesn't this wedding just make you weak in the knees?

I have never loved a wedding more {except of course those that involve my loved ones} I spent my high school years at a Rhode Island boarding school.
