The couple chose Fairhope, a picturesque community overlooking the Mobile Bay; the Fairhope Inn, a bed & breakfast, was the perfect place for this intimate wedding. Libby wore a sweet, ruffled gown by Melissa Sweet paired with a classic set of pearls, a fascinator by Veiled Beauty and Nine West shoes. Lee's J.Crew suit matched the groomsmen's slacks and crisp white shirts, and the bridesmaids wore chiffon cocktail dresses in spring green. The bride carried a presentation bouquet of Coral Charm peonies, while her attendants carried smaller sheaths of snapdragons and crisp white peonies-all arranged by the bride's aunt.
While the girls carried lush bouquets, they skipped large arrangements in favor of vintage milk glass and hobnail vases to decorate the tables, and added burlap runners and votive candles. PEEK, a favorite Mobile band, gave everyone something to dance about, and a perfect buttercream cake by Cakes by Judi was a sweet end to the evening.
