Ringing In a New Week!

Monday, April 18, 2011

Is that ring shot charming? The red hearts, the perfect composition and of course, those gorgeous rings are just what this Monday called for!

I spent the weekend catching up on my sleep and fighting off a sore throat, and John was good enough to take care of me-after several trips to store for grapefruit juice and organic lozenges, he'd earned himself a Gold Medal and a lovely meal out once I'm feeling up to it!

Tell me, what were you up to this weekend?

  1. That ring is gorgeous! My little sister just got engaged and her ring is very similar. I love it! My weekend was low key - cooking delicious meals in, renting a movie, gardening & then Sunday with Bryan's family.. it was almost perfect. The little one fell & bit her lip, which left me feeling down for the better part of Sunday. It was her first major accident & the first time she'ever bled. :[

  21. This is beautiful and vintage. Maybe it was someone's heritage or they found it at an estate sale.
Lovely story with my cousin Rena and hubby Tom who announced their engagement with Tom's parents at dinner without a ring. Tom's dad took him to the safe and brought out three rings that had belonged to grandmothers past. He pick one of them. Needless to say it was perfect for her and now, 35 years later it still looks as beautiful and contemporary as it did on the day they wed. I will try to get a photo for you all to see.
