Keep It Simple

Thursday, April 21, 2011

I adore the Big Apple, of course, and this clever alternative to more traditional vases! We've seen floral arrangements tucked into tea tins, julep cups, mason jars and even light bulbs, so why not iconic printed paper cups? Perfect for a chic New York City wedding, don't you think?

  4. I was driving past a high school on the way to the gym this morning and saw a young girl walking to school & she was wearing an I<3NY shirt & a flannel, cut offs & high heels. Très chic. New ork is talking to me this morning.

  7. This is great! I'm so sad because I had to reply no to my first NY wedding in May. My neice is due the same weekend. It was a tough choice and I did try to ask my Sister if she minded if I missed...she said I couldn't go ;)

  8. so charming! and i think "keep it simple" is definitely a mantra i will keep in mind for my big day. one of my bffs got married and kept a blog about the planning process. she posted a "simple is beautiful" button throughout the duration which i just loved.

  9. oh i love this! Just my style - still interesting but cheap and functional!!! And, you can use any kind of cup you wish:) My friend just had a "fast food" themed 30th bday and it would have been fun to use McDonalds cups for centerpieces!

  28. i love details that ground a wedding and make it feel like the night celebrates two people getting ready to spend forever together in the midst of all the fairy tale romance. it strikes such an endearing balance, and these are right up that alley.
