Kelley and Thomas were married at the Montalvo Arts Center in Northern California, and the sweeping estate inspired a wedding that Gatsby would have adored. The bride wore a grey custom made Alireza Massoumnia gown inspired by the memorable canary Vera Wang Michelle Williams wore to Oscars a few years earlier. Vintage jewels, a favorite of the bride's, completed the look. Kelley's maids were dressed in mismatched metallic frocks by Thread Social; the designer is a friend of the bride. The groom wore a navy sharkskin suit custom made by Tom James, and the classic prep of his his Hill-Side seersucker bow tie echoed the groomsmen's neckties.
After the ceremony, held at the estate's Love Pavilion, guests enjoyed cocktails and games of bocce ball on the lawn. The sumptuous meal was designed by Le Papillon and elegant white floral arrangements tucked into silver cups by Ingela Floral Design graced each table. A ticking stripe from the wedding invitation made its way to place cards and table numbers, all designed by Regas New York, and the bride's mother sewed each matching napkins from fabric Kelley stumbled across. The event was planned by Kristina Taheri Special Events, and each moment was captured beautifully by San Francisco photographer Cliff Brunk and his talented team.
