As a alumna of the
Peabody Conservatory, there's a very special place in my heart for this
gorgeous venue. It's actually George Peabody's personal library (can you imagine?) and filled with all sorts of incredible finds, like editions of the Social Register dating back more than 100 years, rare copies of Mozart manuscripts and an amazing collection of American literature. The best part about this amazing library might just be that it's available for events, and as you can imagine, it's a stunning venue! If any of you East Coast girls are looking for a location, I would absolutely
love to feature a real wedding at the
George Peabody Library!

oh my gosh this is so beautiful! I know I know, SJP did the wedding in the big ol pretty library, but I havent been able to get that out of my head. That and the fact that I used to think as a little girl that the Beast giving Belle that Library was the most romantic thing ever!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful for sure.
yowza, definitely filing this one away for future reference...
ReplyDeleteYay Peabody!!! A friend of mine is wedding planning in Baltimore and I believe she checked out the Peabody Library but it was uber-expensive. I'd love to do a wedding at the AVAM, while we're talking B'mo locations.
