Horray for Friday!

Friday, February 18, 2011

It's been a big week over here (but much, much less exciting than the one before), and I'm ready to celebrate! While you'll catch me sipping a piña colada or an Airmail on Friday evenings, you'll just as often find John and I tucking into classic ice cream sundaes. We love hot fudge and walnuts with organic vanilla bean ice cream from Straus Family Creamery or Three Twins-tell me, how do you like your ice cream?

  1. I guess I'm kind of plain when it comes to ice cream. I just like lemon. If I feel adventurous I'll go for a scoop of hazelnut too :)

  7. This is adorable, and totally reminds me of the sundae cart at my grandfather's resort that my brother and I would get to choose from after our meals at the restaurant there...It was a big silver cart that would get wheeled to our table and we could choose all of our toppings for our sundaes in glass dishes just like these :)

  20. I'm pretty simple when it comes to frozen treats - mint chocolate chip or coconut sorbet are my faves, but I must admit, the one you described sounds delish!

  22. It really depends on the ice cream. I can be very specific on where I go to get mine. Currently I'm obsessed with Molly Moons and eat it straight up in a handmade waffle cones.
