If you're wearing a dainty pink hat and carrying a bouquet of delicate garden roses and ranunculus, why not dress your bridesmaids in pastel shades of pink and blue, too? I love the variety of shades this bride and her girls picked, from icy blues to gunmetal grays for blondes and pinks and peaches for freckled friends.
What do you think of this mix and match trend? Is it creative and contemporary, or will matching bridesmaids ultimately reign?

ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend Lena!

I think they are the prefect shades of pastels. Lovely and feminine. :)
ReplyDeletei think it depends on the feel of the wedding. it can be really cute...or messy.

I like mismatched. But I think eventually it will go back to matching. Classics never die.
ReplyDeleteI'm drawn to the grey dress naturally. I don't know what my color issues are.
I love the mix and match trend, so much more personality + visual interest!
ReplyDeleteooo I love the mix and match. I have so many friends getting married and they have us in the same color.. which is fine and still looks beautiful. But I love the idea of having more of a "look" then specific colors
ReplyDeleteso light & airy...love!
ReplyDeleteIf I could redo my wedding, I might be tempted to choose pastel dresses for my girls. In different shades of course. I love it!
ReplyDeletei love this so much, who needs bridesmaids, I would just wear each dress on my own
ReplyDeleteHello :) I'm hosting a giveaway on my blog. Feel free to check it out if you're interested. Best of luck to you!

ReplyDeleteloving these long, flowy dresses! mixing and matching can be super lovely...if you know what you're doing :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful and diverse dresses, I'd want this for my wedding (hehe, ehm, whenever I'm having one).
ReplyDeleteNo more matching bridesmaids !
I think done properly, such as these, it will never fail to be creative & contemporary! I swear, I could have 100 weddings in this life & it would never be enough to incorporate all the loveliness in the world. Thank goodness for living through blogs like yours!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely picture!
ReplyDeletethe images is lovely... anything that make things interesting if ine with me... Ha!
ReplyDeletei have always been a fan of varied bridesmaid dresses! these are lovely and go so well together.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very beautiful photo and design concept and it isn't an accident that it looks lovely all together. Very controlled choices. Color pallet, fabrication and styling. Deliberate and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThose gowns are so gorgeous -- that pink color and light aqua are just delicious shades :)

ReplyDeleteThis mix and match trend is definitely nicer!!!
ReplyDeleteI’m still in love with the fascinator you published last Monday in “a Hint of Pink”.
I like this trend, i thing it gives bridesmaids the possibility to show a bit more about themselves (and i don't mean skin ;), their personality and personal style!
ReplyDeleteHope this trend is here to stay!
Love these dresses. I like it mismatched. So much more personality. And you? All the best, talk soon

Absolutely lovely!
ReplyDeleteYou know, this must be by innate Type A-ness talking, but I think it's too much for me. The pics are gorgeous, of course, but if I were getting married again, I think I would choose a variety of shades from one color palette rather than a variety of pastels. And there you have it. The limit to my coolness. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love when bridesmaids wear mixed colors!
ReplyDeleteLove the dresses. Does anyone know who the designer is? i just got engaged and would love to put my bridesmaids in them.
ReplyDeletethanks
