the New Year

Saturday, January 1, 2011

Our travel plans were wild enough to start with (SFO to DFW to PHL to DFW to SFO), but the wild Nor'easter that hit on Sunday certainly made a mess of our holiday trip! I was scheduled to fly out to Philadelphia on Sunday, but airports from Baltimore to Boston were closed. After a little pleading and a few well-timed tears, I managed to get a flight out of Dallas the very next day. I flew into Charlotte, NC first, and while we spent nearly 2 hours waiting on the tarmac, miraclously we were cleared for departure into Philly! The flight was a bit bumpy and the landing was certainly no picnic, but we all arrived in one piece and I was able to spend some wonderful time with my family.

Now that the New Year is upon us, tell me-do you have any exciting plans? Any big resolutions? I'd love to hear what each of you is looking forward to in 2011!
