Alexander II
1 oz of brandy
1 oz of heavy cream
3/4 oz of crème de cacao
Combine brandy, cream and crème de cacao in a cocktail shaker with ice; shake for no more than 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Notes: Armagnac is a special breed of brandy produced in the region of Armagnac in Gascony, in southwestern France. It has a particular bite that serves this creamy cocktail well.
