This gorgeous Marchesa mini is the perfect dress for a daring bride with a romantic streak; aren't the ruffles amazing? I imagine this stylish girl's groom would wear a sharp, sharkskin suit, and invite guests with this Martha Stewart for Crane's suite-the scalloped edge echos the ruffles on the dress and divine My Sweet and Saucy cake, but the serif type gives it a contemporary feel.
That dress is gorgeous!!! But I have to be honest, I am a little traditional, I don´t know if I could bring myself to wear a short dress for my wedding, could you? There are so many few occasions in life you can wear a long dress!! haha
ReplyDeleteThat cake is fabulous

Cute dress and the cake is just amazing :)
ReplyDeleteI think I would go for a long dress as well, or maybe a 40's style knee length thing, hmmm...
Have a lovely Monday :)

Oh I love! The dress, the cake, those invitations! I don't know which I like best, although the scalloped edges swing it I think. They work perfectly together.
ReplyDeletei almost got a marchesa dress :) and that cake is out of control beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI could never have picked a cake that gorgeous - who would have the heart to cut into it and eat it?!

That Marchesa mini is quite daring! Glad you had a snuggly weekend :)
ReplyDeleteIt's true, the mini is for a bride with a seriously gorgeous pair of legs and a fearless sense of style! I probably wouldn't wear something quite so short, but I love the idea of wearing a tea length dress!
ReplyDeleteI think you just introduced me to my dream wedding cake, Lena! Jeez Louise, I'm in love.
ReplyDeleteAgreed w/ Chiara. Don't think I could wear a short wedding dress. My mother would DIE. But, that cake is simply breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteLove the frothy floral cake! So beautiful. Hope it tastes as good as it looks!
ReplyDeletethe marchesa gown is such a treat. and melody from sweet and saucy is just plain genius!
ReplyDeletestunning, just breathtaking! I love that cake beyond words! xo
ReplyDeletei am inspired by YOU! :)gina
ReplyDeleteNo really, my heart stopped when I saw the cake. I love this.
ReplyDeleteYou could easily add 3 or 4 " to this mini, and make it less radical but still chic and sexy and because the rest of it is so traditional nothing will be lost. I think the short length would be fresh and lovely.
ReplyDeleteAmazing inspiration!
ReplyDeletejust amazing, like everything marchesa makes. i go to their website and stare at those dresses the whole day.
ReplyDeleteahh the cake!!! so good!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that delicate and beautiful cake is a dream come true!
