Elegant Decay: The Details

Wednesday, November 10, 2010

Have you all been following this amazing collaboration as it makes its way through the wonderful world of wedding blogs? It's been hard to keep quiet about such an exciting event, but now that it's here, I'm so honored to be included and delighted with the final result!

As much as I love the initial impact of a beautiful event, I think the magic really lies in the details, which is why I was so excited to share this particular photo with you. The table setting is stunning, but I think it's the details that really sparkle! Wouldn't this table, inspired by Dutch painters (I see Vermeer's color palette in the lovely photos), by perfect for an elegant Thanksgiving feast or intimate holiday dinner?

Tell me, are you a gal who goes ga-ga for the details,
or are you a big-picture person?

And now a bit from the creative mind behind the shoot!

Our blurb: We're Aleah + Nick Valley of Valley & Co. and we're so excited to partner with some of our most favorite blogosphere friends for this Blog Around the World: Elegant Decay post!
