Absolutely smitten with this charming photo by
Duston Todd. I love the bride's classic red lipstick and pearls, and the glass-bottled Coca Colas herald the beginning of my favorite time of year!
How are your Christmas plans coming along, darling readers? John and I have flights booked all over the country to see our families, and I'm just waiting for my very last gifts to arrive!
I have not started yet with all X-mas preparations but hopefully I´ll manage to start next weekend! Great picture , a kind of retro FEELING!!!love it!Where are you flying?I´ll fly to Spain to meet my family and Spanish friends, kisses
ReplyDeleteI am exchanging gifts with one friend this year. I am so excited becuase I know I am getting her something on her wish list, and something off of it that will make her laugh out loud. those are the best! I have one christmas destination to see my nephews who I havent seen in three years! I am very excited!

ReplyDeleteThere is something so romantic about sharing a classic coca cola! Two straws please ;)
ReplyDeleteI need some red lipstick for the holidays...
That is a classic photo- Those coke bottles to me remind me of cuba or dominican republic- every January during my childhood my parents and I would go to either of those places for a two week break to get away from the cold of Toronto- I remember loving to drink coke from the bottles there.
ReplyDeleteI love it! So beautiful and festive! I love her red lips too, I have not found the one for me yet...
ReplyDeleteThe pearls! The pearls! I love them!
ReplyDeleteyou are finished with your shopping already? I am the worst and ALWAYS wait until the last minute! This year I felt pretty prepared as I have picked up a couple little things, but keep finding things I love and bought lots of gifts for myself. horrible, i know. my excuse is I have to stock up on things while stateside, but think i need to finish the rest of my shopping so i don't feel so guilty. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE this shot!! retro and sweet!
xox
Okay pass the Coca Cola...I have one gift half completed for my niece and that's it.
ReplyDeleteProbably too late to book a flight anywhere other than straight back to my bed. hehe
I need your organizational skills!! And I just need to tell you that this very morning I said to the Chef "why can we not be on holiday from the wednesday prior to thanksgiving all the way through January 2nd?"
It only seems fair.
xo,

Waiting for your last gifts to arrive? Oh my! Well I do already have my kiddo's gifts done and dropped off and wrapped up and everything so I guess I only have to worry about my husband's gifts and any other little gifts I want to give. I just wanted to say thanks for the advice about what's going on in our house. I have had many people tell me to tell the ghost to go away, but I feel like that could create a problem if we upset it. I think we're going to just keep on doing what we're doing, and try not to let it bother us!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog via the blogger location list (from Jen @ Slumber Designs) and I live in the Bay Area too! (I live in Oakland and work in SF). This is a lovely photo, and I'm so excited for the holiday as well. I'm heading across the country, too (to Georgia) on Dec. 19--can't wait!
