Heather and Chris are an Oregon-based twosome who decided to have a destination wedding in the wine country of Northern California. They married on a private property above the Auberge du Soleil complete with a restored railroad car that serves as a guest house, and it provided the perfect backdrop for this charming celebration.
Heather wore a lace gown by Pronovias and printed peep toes by J.Crew, while her new husband looked dapper in a seersucker suit by John Helmer Haberdasher, based in Portland, OR. Bridesmaids wore slate-colored chiffon dresses by J.Crew and groomsmen kept it casual in gray slacks, white button-down shirts and sneakers. Chris' uncle officiated, and represented the bride's alma mater, the University of Oregon, with his green and gold bowtie.
Marcus Rios of San Francisco catered the intimate event, and if the Pablo Neruda quote on his homepage isn't enough to make you swoon, it will at least make you want to eat. Sift Cupcakery provided sweet treats in chocolate, vanilla and red velvet; take a peak at their menu, and you'll be dying for a Pink Champagne (raspberry cake with Champagne frosting) or a Limonatta (Meyer lemon cake with lemon curd and Meyer lemon buttercream) cupcake! Flowers were designed by Elizabeth Gilmore of Elizabeth Floral Design in Portland, OR, a friend of the newlyweds who joined them for their lovely celebration. And capturing every divine detail with grace and talent was Megan Clouse; see more of this wedding and many other gorgeous Bay Area events on her blog, or wait with baited breath for the next gem she sends my way!
Hi Lena,
ReplyDeleteLoved your comment on my blog ... Thank you!
I do treasure every minute I spend with my children... They will grow up so fast!
I also love destination weddings. I got married on Nantucket 10 years ago .. It was very beautiful and my dress was a Pronovias. I am keeping it safe for my daughter ...one day maybe...
This looked like an enchanted wedding. Beautiful pictures!

Wow, what a lovely wedding. We checked Auberge de Soleil out but couldn't quite afford it - it's soooo beautiful but ours was too!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant photography.. All the snaps are awesome.. I think they did their wedding in the forest. I like the idea of this wedding. I like many snaps like kid snap, bridal and groom friend snap etc... Really nice wedding.
