Real Wedding: Alma and Mark

This gorgeous wedding seemed like the perfect summer feature-lots of light, plenty of sand and a beautiful couple. Mark and Alma were married on Bald Head Island, NC, and the stunning location no doubt inspired them each step of the way! After a traditional ceremony, the newlyweds headed to the reception at the Bald Head Island Club, where coordinator Miss Jane Roberson executed each lovely detail, from the vintage maps where guests found their seats to the compass-inspired tablescapes.

Salt Harbor Designs created the lovely floral arrangements and many of the wedding's other lovely features; they even found a photograph of Alma with her mother and sisters, which they tucked into a locket wrapped around her bouquet! Now that's attention to detail!

Guests big adieu to the newlyweds with Don McLean's "American Pie", and they rode off on one of the island's most popular modes of transportation-a hydrangea-filled golf cart.
