Dressing for (Bedtime) Success

Tuesday, August 24, 2010

I think that the perfect couple splits a single pair of pajamas: he wears the bottoms and you call dibs on the top. This handsome set from Brooks Brothers features wrinkle-resistant oxford and classic black piping for a look that's perfect for brunch at Gatsby's or reading the paper in bed!

  1. I agree! Pajama-sharing is the way to go... Frank and I have always done that and when I was pregnant it was amazing to continue with tradition because nothing I wore made me feel comfortable.

    These look amazing!

  2. Whenever I see traditional pyjamas, it reminds me of my father. He had such an impeccable taste and was so elegant. I miss him dearly ... Thank you for bringing memories back.

  3. that's a great idea! I should buy a pair for W for Christmas, and we can share :)
I work right by the Brooks Brother's store on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.. they currently have their black fleece collection on display in the windows and I drool every time I walk past! There is this little velvet skirt/jacket combination that makes my heart sing.
    have a fantastic day!

  4. Fallon, the Black Fleece collection makes me a little weak in the knees! I think I know exactly the skirt/jacket combo you're talking about; there's a Black Fleece on Fillmore, which I pass every day on the way to work!

Coté, I'm glad I was able to bring you a happy memory of your father. My own papa is not nearly such a chic dresser at bedtime.

Anna, you must have been the hottest pregnant woman on Earth, wearing your husband's pajama top!
